The Sitter Trailer (Red Band)

I’m sure most of you have heard the news about Jonah Hill slimming down and to me he looks really weird now, but he’s back on the scene with a new movie. The Sitter seems like what happened to Seth (Superbad), after he graduated from High School and it looks HILARIOUS. I can’t wait to see it when it comes out.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (Trailer)

Usually, prequels are pretty weak movies, with the exception of a few films lately but Rise of the Planet of the Apes serves as just that for the classic, Planet of the Apes. James Franco stars in this Rupert Wyatt film, with the CGI team from Avatar doing the special effects. From the trailer, it looks like this might win an award or two, obviously depending on the rest of the films that release this year. Check out Rise of.. in theaters August 5th.

Fight For Your Right : Revisited

I posted the information about this in the making  back a couple months ago but now Will Ferrel, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Danny McBride, Elijah Wood and a slew of other actors and actresses make appearances in the remake of the Beastie Boy’s classic track, “Fight For Your Right”. This is only the trailer, full 30 minute video coming soon.

Hesher | A Film by Spencer Susser

March 31, 2011 2 comments

Susser, an independent film writer, director and producer, brings us Hesher. Susser shot the film in LA on a 7 million dollar budget with Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office), Natalie Portman (who’s buzz from Black Swan is still circulating) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception). The film is raw, has a very indie feel to it, was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010 and is expected to kill the box office, similar to how Black Swan did. Oh, and Natalie Portman is on the producer’s board for this one too. The film drops in May. Synopsis and Trailer below.

Al Pacino x Robert DeNiro x Joe Pesci x Martin Scorsesse

This may be old news to some, but I am just finding out about what is expected to be this great movie. Scorsesse’s film will be about Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran, the main suspect in the death of Jimmy Hoffa and the inside story of the mafia. Anybody that knows me, knows that I love mafia/gangster/drug movies and I also love pretty much every film that either Pacino, Pesci or DeNiro has been in. Hopefully, this will be a great movie like I envision it to be.

I’m not going to say anything because all other words besides, “Hitting Theaters May26th”, would be irrelevant.
